Job Summary Responsible for creating, planning, managing, and executing all aspects of a broad range of events on the Comcast Campus and a variety of offsite locations. Must provide white glove service to event clients and attendees, ensure effective operation of event spaces, and communicate needs to event stakeholders. May lend occasional support to other areas within the Campus Experience organization. Job Description Core Responsibilities Applies knowledge of special events business processes and planning in a corporate setting. Client facing with the ability to provide high touch, white glove service. Leads event site-visits to gain a complete understanding of requirements for each event. Creatively devises event themes, design, graphics, and registration pages. Closely communicates and collaborates with event stakeholders including Food Services, Security, Facilities, and A/V. Act as onsite lead for events; delegating responsibilities, responding to client requests, coordinating stakeholder duties. Collaborates with teammates to plan event timeline, activities, and promotion. Help to develop, interpret, and apply event policies and procedures. Works with manager to understand and manage event budget. Completes diversified administrative tasks. Knowledgeable of or has the ability to quickly learn various technology systems used for event reservations, data tracking, and virtual offerings. Graphic Design experience a plus. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with clients and stakeholders. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary. Ability to travel as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education Bachelor's Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience. Relevant Work Experience 2-5 Years Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
