Job Summary Responsible for managing the pricing, packaging and documenting new products ideas and conducts user need analyses for ancillary products so that subscriber and financial objectives are achieved. Conducts the budgeting, planning, analysis and monitoring required to ensure unit and financial targets are met for assigned products. Manages ongoing product management of new and existing products. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff. About the Team: Our team operates within the CONNECT organization, specializing in both Access and Core networks. As the strategic program delivery arm, we drive the conception, development, and implementation of expansive technical initiatives crucial to CONNECT's mission. Comprising a dynamic blend of product, program, project, and engineering expertise, our team orchestrates the seamless execution of multifaceted projects within CONNECT. About the Role: We are seeking an individual with product experience who is open to embracing a non-traditional product role. By "non-traditional," we mean someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to immerse themselves in assisting our development, programs, and customer teams in achieving their objectives. We require someone willing to dive into various tasks, including but not limited to process flows, solution design, and any other necessary activities crucial for the success of our program. This role demands active participation in defining the technology product roadmap to cater to our partners' needs and seamlessly aligning it with ongoing development efforts. In addition to product-related responsibilities, this role may also entail supporting project management tasks, such as helping define and drive deliverables. The ideal candidate will be proficient in documentation, including requirements writing, and adept at facilitating and supporting teams in any way necessary. Furthermore, this individual should be capable of facilitating design discussions with large technical groups, guiding them through complex topics and ensuring productive outcomes. Their ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders will be critical in achieving our program's objectives. What You’ll Do: Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buy-in to deliver on the defined end-to-end customer experience. Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research. Maintains updated view of key competitive changes. Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time. Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features. Participate in defining product business and functional requirements. Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks. Drafts and manages requirements and other supporting business documentation (such as use cases, possibly M&Ps (methods and procedures), executive summaries etc.). Leads concepts defining an end-to-end customer experience and expected full lifecycle costs. Contributes to the product vision across team and the organization. Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable). Manage change requests. Validates downstream deliverables and final offering (business acceptance testing). Skills & Experience We’re Looking For: Product Management: Demonstrated experience in product management, including defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and aligning them with business objectives. Entrepreneurial Mindset: An entrepreneurial mindset is crucial for this role, as it involves thinking creatively, taking initiative, and being adaptable in a dynamic environment. Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills are essential for working closely with development teams, facilitating communication, and fostering a cohesive working environment to achieve collective goals. Problem-Solving and Solution Design: Proficiency in problem-solving and solution design is necessary for identifying challenges, devising effective solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of product features. Communication and Documentation: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effectively documenting requirements, facilitating discussions, and conveying complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
