Job Summary Responsible for assisting in the design of system architectures and solutions to bring to market new innovative products which span web service offerings. Assists in the planning, designing, integrating, testing, deploying and supporting of products. Helps with testing and operational activities. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. About the Team: The SecureNet Platform team is dedicated to crafting, implementing, and overseeing an advanced infrastructure tailored for optimizing network connectivity and traffic management. Our mission involves enhancing efficiency, ensuring seamless data flow, and empowering informed decision-making for our customers' internet experience. Committed to global excellence, we thrive on fostering collaboration and pioneering solutions through innovative approaches, including the implementation of SD-WAN to connect and expand enterprise networks across extensive geographical areas using SDN principles. What You’ll Do: Consistently works with leads, matrix teams of experts, project managers, and other engineers to drive technology that provides for smooth introduction of new products and features. Work with teams to streamline our research and design cycle for new products and network evolution. Contributes to achievement of long-term objectives and plans. Develops requirements, design, development, integration, test of network projects/products and decisions serve as precedents for future issues. Develops expertise in new technologies, products, and techniques to contribute back to the project. Develops or utilizes DevOps automation to deploy software and perform continuous integration (CI) testing. Participates in operational support for always-on custom and packaged software systems. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills & Experience We’re Looking For: Thorough understanding of Network Stack (TCP/IP, Routing protocols, Switching) Proficient in Linux Operating system Proficient in at least one programming language like Python, GoLang or similar. Exposure to Cloud Technologies like OpenStack or Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.) Exposure to automation tools like Ansible, Terraform or similar. Understanding of SDN/NFV technologies is a plus.
