Job Summary Responsible for assisting to oversee system support functions in a client server systems infrastructure. Manages day to day activities within the system including maintenance and interfacing with system personnel to ensure that all questions / issues arising are resolved in a timely manner. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. Job Description Core Responsibilities **Asset Evaluation and Classification**: Assessing and classifying assets based on their condition, residual value, and potential for reuse, resale, or recycling. This involves determining whether assets can be refurbished or must be disposed. **Inventory Management**: Keeping accurate records of assets being reclaimed, including details on their condition, location, and status in the reclamation process. This often involves using our Asset Management system Eracent and IOP. **Refurbishment and Repair**: Overseeing the process of refurbishing assets to make them suitable for reuse. **Compliance and Environmental Stewardship**: Ensuring that the reclamation process complies with local, and national regulations regarding waste disposal, hazardous materials, and environmental protection. This includes adhering to policies on recycling, waste reduction, and the disposal of electronic waste (e-waste). **Risk Management**: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the reclamation process, including environmental hazards, data security issues (for electronic assets), and potential legal liabilities. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education Associate's Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
